Stafford Orthopedics has been serving the Southern Ocean County, New Jersey community for more than 40
years. Located just minutes from Long Beach Island, our physicians and staff maintain an active local presence and commitment to the area. We treat injuries and diseases of bones,
muscles, joints, podiatry and peripheral nerves. We care for patients of all ages from infants to the elderly. Whenever appropriate, our philosophy
is to try non-surgical forms of treatment first, recommending surgery only if conservative measures fail.

Our Practice
The practice of orthopedics involves the diagnosis and treatment (both surgical and non-surgical) of injuries and diseases affecting the hands, feet, arms, legs, neck and back. Treatment of broken bones is a large part of the practice. Sports medicine and arthritis are two of the most common areas of focus in our practice. Our orthopedic surgeon performs total hip and knee replacements and arthroscopy of the shoulder, knee and ankle. We also treat carpal tunnel syndrome, wrist ganglions and trigger fingers, bunions, hammer toes and ingrown toenails.
Our podiatric specialist provides medical diagnosis and surgical and non-surgical treatment of foot and ankle problems, such as bunions, heel pain, spurs, hammertoes, neuromas, ingrown toenails, warts, corns and calluses as well as the care of sprains, fractures, infections, and injuries of the foot, ankle and heel. www.manahawkinfootdoctor.com.
